Hope in the Himalayan Heartbeats (HHH) is the official website of the signature campaign projects of the Rotary Club of New York Queens, a nonprofit organization registered under 501(c) in New York City, USA. HHH was created as a flagship humanitarian initiative to extend compassion and opportunity to children living in Nepal’s remote Himalayan communities. These children often face extreme poverty, hunger, limited access to education, and inadequate healthcare. The program responds to these challenges by providing a holistic support system that addresses both immediate needs and long-term development.
The Rotary Club of New York Queens was established in 2017 through a shared vision and goals as well as collective efforts of great Rotarians like yourselves with the Universal moto “Service Above Self”

From classrooms to mountain trails, Hope in the Himalayan Heartbeats (HHH) provides essential resources to vulnerable children in Nepal’s Himalayan communities, helping restore hope and access to opportunity.
HHH’s education programs supply books, uniforms, shoes, and school materials to support learning, reduce dropout rates, and strengthen long-term academic success. Food assistance programs ensure children receive nutritious meals to combat malnutrition, while shelter and warmth initiatives distribute clothing, blankets, mattresses, and slippers to protect children during harsh Himalayan winters.
Clean water and hygiene programs provide water filters, soap, and sanitizers to improve health and prevent disease. Healthcare services include medical checkups, preventative care, and wellness programs designed to support children’s physical and emotional heartbeats as they grow.
Beyond basic needs, HHH promotes joy, creativity, and emotional well-being by offering recreational and sports materials, recognizing that play and self-expression are essential to healthy child development and lasting hope.
Educational Essentials
We equip children with the resources necessary to pursue learning with confidence. This includes providing essential school supplies such as stationery, books, uniforms, and shoes.
Clean Drinking Water & Hygiene
Promoting health and dignity, we ensure access to safe drinking water through the distribution of water filters. We also supply hygiene kits containing soap, sanitizers, and towels.
Basic Food Assistance
We actively combat hunger and malnutrition by providing nutritious meals and essential food staples to those in need.
Shelter & Warmth
Offering comfort and protection against harsh climates, our support includes clothing and bedding essentials such as blankets, mattresses, trousers, slippers, and shoes.
Health & Wellness
We ensure the physical well-being of the children through basic medical checkups and preventative wellness programs. Along with distribution of recreational as well as sports materials.
